What is a game-active player?
A player your app has provisioned who plays at least one game in a calendar month. Provisioned players who do not play that month cost nothing.
Do bot games count?
No. If your app offers a bot fallback when the queue is thin, those games do not make a player game-active. Only games against people count.
Can I keep my players out of the shared pool?
Yes. Pools are per app: global by default, private if you opt in. The tradeoffs are covered on the network page.
How do I verify a completion gate server-side?
Query the sessions API with the ref you set when the session started. The receipt carries completed_received_at stamped by the server clock. The pattern is shown in the quickstart.
Who owns my users?
You do. Parlor holds an opaque id you chose, a generated handle, avatar parts, and gameplay records. It never sees emails or names, and it never contacts your users.
