Privacy policy.
Written in plain language, because the underlying facts are simple. Parlor is built so there is very little about you to protect.
Effective July 14, 2026. Parlor is an early-access service operated at activities.daeila.com.
Parlor's role
Parlor is a game network that partner apps embed. When you play a Parlor game, you play it inside an app you already use, and that app owns its relationship with you. Parlor processes gameplay data on behalf of partner apps. For questions or requests about your data, your first stop is the app you play in; Parlor supports the app in honoring them.
What we store
- An opaque player id. Partner apps identify players by an id of their own choosing, such as
user_42. Parlor cannot resolve this id to a person. It never receives player emails, names, or phone numbers. - A generated handle and avatar choices. Handles like SleepyKnight42 are assigned by Parlor. Avatars are assembled from a fixed set of cartoon parts. Neither contains anything you typed or uploaded.
- Gameplay records. Moves, clock times, results, ratings, streaks, and session receipts, including server timestamps such as when a completed session was received.
- Token hashes. We store hashes of app keys and player tokens so we can verify them. We do not store the tokens themselves.
- Developer accounts. Signing in to the developer console requires an email address. This is developer data, not player data, and it is used to operate your account and nothing else.
What we never collect
- Player emails, names, phone numbers, or contact details of any kind.
- Free text between players. The product has none: no chat, no profiles, no display-name fields.
- Photos or uploads. There is nowhere to upload anything.
- Advertising identifiers or cross-site tracking of any kind. This website loads no analytics scripts.
What opponents can see
When you play someone from another app, they see your generated handle, your avatar, your rating with its provisional badge if you have played fewer than 10 games, and by default the name of the app you play from. That is the complete list. Your identity inside your own app never crosses the wall.
How data is used
Gameplay data exists to run games, keep ratings honest, and give partner apps verifiable session receipts. We do not sell data, we do not serve ads, and we do not use gameplay data to profile people.
Deletion and retention
Partner apps can delete a player at any time through the tenant API's delete_player operation, which removes the player's identity from the network. If you want your data deleted, ask the app you play in, since only it can connect its opaque id to you. Deletion requests that reach us directly are honored on request; developers can reach us through the console.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Keys and tokens are stored as hashes. Tenant isolation is enforced at the API layer: one app's key cannot read another app's players or sessions. Parlor runs on Cloudflare's edge infrastructure, which processes requests as our subprocessor.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. We will not weaken the plain commitments above, no player emails, no ads, no data sales, without saying so clearly and in advance.
